No Revolutionaries Need Apply to Lead California's $12 Billion Stem Cell/Gene Therapy Program
CIRM has not yet disclosed number of applicants
Directors of the $12 billion California stem cell agency have made it clear they are not looking for a revolutionary to become the new president and CEO of the 19-year-old program.
The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) “is not in that kind of shape where it needs a new CE0 to reset the table on what the organization is doing,” said Fred Fisher, a member of the search committee and a member of CIRM’s 35-member governing board.
